However most of the medium and large companies that might be interested in POET (or competitors or turf defenders) also would be monitoring/scrutinizing patent applications that POET has made. They will try to gleen as much competitive and strategic intelligence that they can from those patent applications. Tough to fly under radar when you are in a field like this especially if it is as disruptive as this is going to be. Eagles can swoop down if they have done their DD and see potential value or risk to their turf or if they just want to delay POET.

Anyways we all will soon (not sure if its end of June (probably an indicator) or end of summer or end of year) find out how this plays out. From my perspective I see most of the potential outcomes as being positive. I would prefer the partner license/development alyternative rather than a sale. This preference probably means a longer wait and possibly more risks but also likely far more value over the medium term.
