Well, being a cheap bastard I would not part with my money for a product with all the bells and whistles when one simply requires a basic product for less cost. Anybody that builds anything used by consumers looks for lowest cost of materials. Think of a rennovation of a rental property inhabited by ditch pigs. You would never consider re-building the Taj Mahal for them.

Having two types of chips is as good as it gets for POET in order to offer two price points. To refute that PET is obsolete is nonsense. IMHO, PET may end up being the most popular chip with orders for some time in the near future.
