ohp: "But our roadmap does not fit the sept 2016 timeframe people."

Can you clarify what you mean by this? Whose sept 2016 timeframe? Ours? Apple's?

At 4 minutes in the video they mention Google and "disruption." Ok, so I am suggesting that we (POET) are Apple's next force for disruption. Why? because an apple executive sits on our TRAB. You are suggesting Google will be the next force for disruption. Why? I have no idea, so please let us know. Are you suggesting we are in a relationship with Google? Or that Google is working on something that will put us out of business?

And let me clarify my enthusiasm. I expect POET to follow its publicly disclosed plan for 2016, as in, design and build a first product (a datacenter cable) to show the market. Whatever relationship POET has with Apple isn't (in my opinion) going to result in POET's tech getting into any apple product in 2016. The point of connecting dots here is that POET is THE tech that could make the apple watch a truly great product. When? Haven't a clue.

As others have suggested, apple will wait until the tech is much further de-risked before announcing the partnership. I think its reasonable that this partnership could be revealed in the fall of 2016. "Products" and "Partnership" are two very different things, but the market is a discounting mechanism, so PTK will be on the nasdaq long before any of us will be able to hold a consumer vertical product in our hands, Apple's or otherwise. And let's be clear: If POET ends up in bed with some other consumer product company, shareholders will make out just fine.
