Wow Sula you're a brave man bringing up this subject again. To me this is not a DOT, the statement 'Internally developed since 2015'  is referring to the HFETs as part of POET. However, we now know they have switched their attentions to BICFETs and therefore are no longer developing HFETs internally as part of the POET platform. Perhaps this statement is just highlighting that fact.

I think we need to start taking what they said about PET at face value. They saw no value in it and therefore didn't focus their time on it. Sure, perhaps another entity may have taken a different view on that and decided to run with it. But i'm sure we'd have already seen the fruits of their labour by now. For me PET won't be seen as a standalone entity

For me the AGM was a line in the sand and a seminal moment. We were told PET isn't a focus, the discrete parts of the POET platform are not valuable as stand alone products. The immediate future is InP and the icing on the cake could be POET. As hard as it is to hear for people who have been around for many years, they have for now switched their focus to the InP hybrid solutions, until a partner can be found for POET.
