However, we now know they have switched their attentions to BICFETs and therefore are no longer developing HFETs internally as part of the POET platform.

I take that statement back sula. The most recent CP claerly states they are still developing the HFETs as part of Electrical devices. The BICFETs is for the thyristor switches as part of the 4th terminal device.

One thing i've learnt is that I don't understand the nuances of this technology and therefore reserve comment on what that actually means.
