For those who feel a notorious group of the .52 warrant holders are to blame for the lousy share price, why wouldn't they lay off their theorized shorting for a while, let the price rise and short at .75 rather than at .57?

If I were a bankster, I had an algorithm for that. It would be satisfied with small but all the more secure profits.

If I were a bankster, I might try to prevent that the $0.75 warrants are exercised, so that the company would need another financing round from which I might benefit in one or the other way.

As a shareholder or warrant holder willing to take a risk, I might speculate that the company is able to get around without the money from the warrants, so preventing them to get exercised would inhibit dilution and save my own share in the company.

For the significant group who feels confirmed sales are the only tonic, look at all the sales-less spec companies, especially in biotech, that have established massive market caps when compared to Poet.

Might depend on the particular branch and on the ability of potential investors to understand the technology.

Is there a stigma attached to Canadian tech companies?  is there a stigma to a non-established revenue producer with hopes for revenue significantly tied to China?

Depending on China somehow surely presents a risk of its own, which should be factored in.
