Baba the first paragraph of the article you posted is a good summation of really how well this can work for POET.
An at-the-market (ATM) offering is a tool a publicly traded company can use to raise capital quickly by incrementally selling new shares into the stock market. These offerings are more flexible and cheaper than traditional secondary stock offerings, and they can allow companies to raise money by leveraging company milestones, planned news releases, as well as upward trends in company’s share price or a broader bull market.
I believe there will be big interest from true investors as shorting becomes a lot more dangerous for those who would use the stock just for trading.
POET is interrupting the rinse and repeat cycle. Where many feel it is a safe bet to sell the run and wait for the shorts to take down the price.
This is a good match for POET as the company releases exciting news in such a hot market sector.
Well done Tom!
