Impossible to say if you're wrong, but I highly doubt it is a binary proposition.

There are a lot of balls in the air at the moment, and suggesting that a company who has bought 9.9% of the company has inside information, is just plain wrong.

Even if they were given insider info, they would not be able to trade on it since that's illegal.
