Why in the world would a trillion dollar or a 10 billion dollar company make a ridiculously high bid when they can likely buy the company tomorrow for less than $20/share?  

Be reasonable and realistic. I doubt Poet wants to sell out now, but any hostile offer will be well under a billion dollars currently.
