ITTR, are you trying to make the point that Suresh is acting like a politician?  I've seen a lot of the latter this summer, and the Suresh quote from 2021 does conjure similarities.

 Covid and supply chain were legitimate issues, but I'm not sure those were the only issues. I'm very much of the opinion that the testing and tweaking cycles of the IO (by interested potential customers) were far more lengthy than anticipated.
