Creating shareholder wealth by advancing gold projects through the exploration and mine development cycle.
Intersting Casey's writeup, sinbad. It does appear that the Chinese govt is buying up nearly 100% of all the gold mined in China, that being the world's largest gold producer, which means that Chinese domestic personal demand has to be met from international imports. That said, I don't think the Chinese are keen to see the dollar take a swan dive - that hurts not only their reserves (which I doubt they care about too too much), but their export economy (which they care about extremely much). They are the heroin dealers, and we are collectively more than happy as heroin users to borrow everything we can to buy more from them. Of course we all know how that story ends, but heck, that's another day. Maybe that analogy is too hard on the Chinese, as the US (Bush) is the one who set up the deficit spending "habit".
Release before Denver show - again, I'd give that zero percent chance. I did get the impression at the AGM that not only was the NR not quite finished but that they don't need it for Denver. We already have a great story to put in front of the Denver folks, together with the nachos.
I wonder if Denver will generate a bit of buying interest, or whether those who expected an early NR will bail (erroneously, I think). I've been accumulating. I do feel that a NR before PDAC is a 100% chance, and I have chosen the hat I'll have to eat if I'm wrong (a large Tilley, and anyways I won't be wrong about it). I have chosen a suitable barbeque sauce on the off chance, but I'm 100% counting on using it on some grass-fed steak ...
