Very interesting reading, I know your experience. Actually, in the early 80 ties we drove up the about 100 km dusty 'Blueberry Road' to Nakina from the main highway. You could see the trucks coming from about 30 km away due to the dust. Then we went on a one-week fly-in fishing camp north of Nakina(who knows, it could have been close to Marten Falls). The outfitter tought we were city slickers and came after a couple of days to see if were ok. However, as a real fishing man, I had no problems impressing and feeding the two butiful women that came along. I should not forget to tell you that I almost took the boat and the two women, over a pretty hefty water fall. It was definetely more luck than skills that prevented the propellers not to break and shatter as I plowed my way upstream in too shallow water, too close to the dop-off.
