Thanks for the heads up…keep them coming.

As you know at Pyro we are always looking for interesting applications where we can have a strategic, or cost, advantage in offering innovative and unique solutions.

Right now, converting coal to oil is technically feasible either through a process called pyrolysis or through gasification followed by what is called Fischer-Tropsch synthesis.  However, right now, this is a costly process that is not currently competitive with other cheaper sources of energy such as natural gas or even oil pumped out of the ground.  We will keep an eye on this just in case the business case changes or there is a unique opportunity that would lend itself to our expertise.

Thanks again for keeping your eyes opened for us.  As I said, keep them coming.
