Message: Natural gas Hydro Plants

Dear MadMonkey,

Welcome.

Thanks for posting here.

The answer to your question is simply, no. Hydro power plants burn natural gas to make electricity.

When you think about it for a moment, as attractive as it may sound, it would not make sense for a plasma torch to consume electricity in order to produce more electricity.

Keep the ideas coming.

Always appreciated.

Hope that helps,

Peter
