You are definitely entitled to your opinion, but it's  not one that I share.  When the sp is being manipulated down in a coordinated fashion it creates a lot of anxiety amongst long term share holders.  Press releases by the company does calm the nerves and the market that is being manipulated. I look at it as a tool, and without these tools  the sp could easily be in a free fall. The market likes  stability,  always has and always  will. If I had my way shorting would not be allowed.  Jmo
