this response from my friend is very typical...I have asked quite a few doctors about RVX208...and it really comes down to how medical research is done.  Single target single molecule...bingo...that is what most medical professionals understand. RVX208 upends that conventional wisdom...one small molecule that will achieve so many targets?  Very difficult for hard core researchers to accept that they have been doing research in CVD (not to mention renal etc) all wrong all these decades!

Actually, if you have fine with efficacy...then we should be good.  Usually, there are enough smoke signals in such trials that there is a safety issue.  You know...murmurs of unhappiness somewhere.  None seen in Resverlogix to the best of my knowledge!
