Very good question!
It might be because we also have a publication that needs to still be published so we cannot hint one way or another. But that is simply a guess. Perhaps BDZ can help.
I remember the total eGFR rate for all patients combined (placebo & treated) not not change,... so if the treated group went up,... some others went down so as to keep the total at UNCHANGED.
Let's hope for the best.
I would imagine if we scored a significant raise in eGFR for the treated group, we might warrant another BTD.
