San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Lake Shore fits. Similar operations and Ned has close connections with Peter Crossgrove as does Pirie. Goldcorp should throwout an offer for both LSG & SGR just to make Barrick sqirm which is probably who this goes to in the end. Both companies have been infiltrated by people with connections to the biggest gold producer in the world and the defacto producer for western central banks. It's no wonder both companies have been severely manipulated.
"Mr. Crossgrove sits on various boards of directors including Barrick Gold, Quadra Logic Technologies, Pelangio Mines and Dundee Realty Corporation and previously served as CEO and Vice Chairman of Placer Dome Inc."
This is also interesting, comparing how the largest funds voted against San Gold's shareholder right's plan among a few other burgeoning producers. Best way to steal the gold is to own the mine and the tinfoil hat nutter in me thinks the decent producers are getting taken over slowly by accumulating low cost votes because the role of gold in the future as we all believe will have a much larger role in the macro world. Screw the little shareholders it's about access to gold through votes.
