It's one thing if they had to go to allot of effort or send you a CD to load it or something, but that's not the case. It's a "tool" they make available and the more people who install it, the more one are committed to being a Fidelity customer.

I use it for info about closer to real time pricing, I think it's delayed 2 minutes, but there might be a streaming quote feature that I have not learned to find yet...don't know?

You can buy/sell on it but I just use the portfolio for that as I am used to it and it's simple.
