Think of it this way, how many diamond mines are there in Canada against the number of highly profitable gold, nickel, and other metals based mines?

Finding an economical diamond mine is extremely difficult even if trace minerals and everything looks right the grade etc. often falls short. I was invested in and lost a fair bit on African exploration and mining venture involved in Diamonds but it was a heck of an education along the way.

Stick with the base metals and platinum exploration would be my preference. If somebody trips over diamonds it's OK by me just don't spend a lot looking.
