Some months ago I wrote on this board that if SPQ got to $2.50 in 2008, I would arrange a big party in Toronto. That's the way I felt then, and I still feel the same way now.
I'm being cautious, however. As many in the corporate world do, I'm trying to "underpromise and overperform" - if you get my drift. (As for being corporate, the only thing corporate about me is possibly my waist size.)
What gives me real confidence in all of this McFaulds stuff is the make-up of the leadership at Spider and Noront. These guys are good. Furthermore, they've got a lot of shares and time invested in the James Bay lowlands. Their steps in this project are measured and careful. No Robert Friedland charades here. They want to become millionaires like a lot of people on these boards - including me.
Regards,
Snug
