Nice job on relating NOT's DE1 hole 5 find to a potential share price for SPQ. You write:
Another way of looking at this figure, is that SPQ share price at $0.385 represents 10% insitu value of an inferred $3.5B resource. Many believe NOT DE1 contains ~~ 7B Tonnes at ~~ $700-$1000 gross average value per tonne ($4.9B to $7B gross).
We haven't got the 43-101 for Eagle 1 yet, but 7B+ tonnes is likely. Moreover, we've got Eagle 2-? yet to come. Plus the SPQ-FWR Freewest Option drilling will most likely yield some great numbers. $0.385 looks like a no-brainer. But the market can be fickle.
Many are concerned about the number of shares outstanding, and the possibility of future dilution. I think that the potential strike bonanza is very large so that the number of share might in fact work in our favor. There will be significant action with high volatility. The "big boys" will want to accumulate (it's already happening with NOT). And everyone will have to have a "enter and exit" strategy.
The recent discussion on this hub has been great. Lots to think about. I've said months ago that if SPQ hits $2.50 by the end of the year, I'm planning a big party. This should give you an idea of how I feel deep down.
So if I sound conservative with talking about a 2-bagger or 3-bagger, I honestly believe that the geology close to Noront's Double Eagle play including the Freewest Option is compelling. This includes SPQ's future prospects, which are very bright.
With regards to the discussion around how I would invest $1200 and how I feel about SPQ, my suggestion was one of an infinite number that could be made. Everyone has their own opinion, and if people disagree with me that's just fine. I encourage it because I don't know everything.
I want to briefly touch base with Neil this week coming - to find out how things are going with the drilling, and what's happening with the option JV with UC Resources.
Exciting times are on the horizon!
