FWR, SPQ and KWG are negotiating to change the agreement as SPQ and KWG cannot come up with a bankable feasibity report in 18 months. They are willing to deduct 5 % , from original 65 % to 60 % and leave FWR 40% in the JV. Nothing is solid yet.
About Cliff, hope IRISH 111 ,JD or Yellowknife can correct me if I misinterprete.
Cliff was also approached by IBK few months back on the first intended PP but Ciff was too involved with KWG and wanted to lay hands on KWG first.
Since then, they have not communicated much on the second PP.
I do not know whether I heard correctly: ....Cliff did not approach me ...
About Government involvement, there are more 'talks ' than actions.
Any exploration company in ROF, if want to become a mining operation needs :
a lot of money and time. DE Beer , as an example, took almost 8 years before the operation .
In Autumn, there may be a new mining act coming, with involvement and recognition to the First Nations.
