If you read it again I was questioning his profit number. The 6% profit bonus is incorrect. It would be 18.75%
I'm not sure I agree with you. I'll be the first to admit I'm no mathematician, but I think the point hoov was trying to make is that for Black Thor to equal the profit on Big Daddy, you'd have to mine 18.75% more ore. I'm sure there's some kind of profit curve in play. The point I was trying to make in my comparison is that, all costs being equal, the Big Daddy deposit contains at least 6% more chrome per ton than Black Thor. What ever the profit is on mining 1 million tons per year out of Big Daddy would be 6% greater than mining 1 million tons per year on Black Thor because that BD million tons contains 60,000 tons more chromite.
