First Explorer at the "Ring of Fire" and presently drilling on the "BIG DADDY" Chromite/Pge's jv'd property...yet we were robbed
Snug I agree with what you're saying in one sense but not the other. For the record I supported this R/S although I had mixed feelings about it.
"My not-so subtle point here is that rarely do any retail investors talk with Neil. Much of the the discussion on this AG board is conjecture and POV. Little at all that is substantial or substantiated."
I take issue with this statement. If there was proper flow of information to the shareholders we would not need to talk to Neil. Furthermore Neil can make better use of his time which is by the way "our time" on other company matters. As far as Conjecture goes there are two problems here. One is the lack of clarity leaves investors no choice. Secondly the announcement of the R/S and the timing was in my view "IGNORANT" in the extreme. Not conjecture from my view but my firm opinion. On top of that I sent Neil an email and never did get a response. It was my feeling that an email would permit him to respond when he could spare the time rather than me taking his time with a phone call. So you say contact Neil. Well I have and received nothing in response.
Spider needs an IR person like KWG. They needed someone two or three months ago. This would have given investors access to the company with out weighing on Neil's schedule. I personally have no problem if you seek such a position but to my knowledge you do not officially work for Spider and as such your comments like mine are simply informed posts or personal opinion. So don't try and allude to the fact that investors new a R/S was coming because you had talked about it.
Cliffs NR today shows the decision to proceed has already been taken and that they will forge ahead either with us or with out us. You and I have very different views of how Neil has prepared for this and I will respectfully decline to start a fight. I voted for the R/S knowing that a return would take longer to realize but hoping at the same time to give the company some flexibility in future negotiations. However don't get me wrong and think I was supporting Neil's management style. I do not think this Motion was well timed nor do I feel it was properly brought to the floor. The meeting was not used to full potential as a result. Almost a wasted exercise. More time P...ed away.
I'm new to this board but didn't just push up through the cabbage patch last night. If Neil or any one else wants my support then treat me with some respect.
Still no official NR regarding the meeting. Completely unacceptable and only more of the same old, same old. By the way next time you chat with Neil tell him that Spider is not his. It's "ours" the shareholders, including him.
Strength is in numbers.
Late, but if a few things changed here maybe this BB would be much more positive just like the stock price!!
