One interesting side effect of this announced purchase today is that they paid .135/share for these shares.
The other interesting point is that they did this with the knowledge that the SRP will start to kick in as early as June 11, and if it does, their shares will effectively lose half their value.
One can be fairly certain they plan to make some conclusive maneuver before that date to prevent or at least delay the event. Something like the anticipated increase in offer price. However, even then it will have to be good enough for the BOD to agree to delay enactment of this plan.
I may have to eat my words, as it would now appear that for sure, an offer of .18 would not garner a whole lot of interest.
