Where exactly do you see the intention to offer SPQ more money

You are correct k, I was jumping the gun, and presuming that there will be a higher offer. It's a wait and see.

But I still think it is a despiration move on CLF's part, and I don't see where they are indicating that they encourage the amalgamation. Their actions so far indicate the proposed merger was a surprise to them.
