Sculpin: You are right to do your own DD and not just to take anyone's word for something as important as the change of expiry date for Cliffs offer. But not only two of us but three got the same messge.

"Just got a phone call from TD Waterhouse - an approximate summary of the call -

He gives a possible explaination for the call but that still does not absolve TD waterhouse for confusing the issue, if in fact they have.

Also Jeannie on the KWG board got a call ( not sure which broker).

Tomorrow morning will be interesting. I'm still waiting for a call from Georgeson. I'm going to call them again , right now.

I made the call. The person that answered said I had reached Cliffs offer line for Spider resources. He said they had no information on any new expiry date.

Interesting indeed.

My grandchildren are flying in and then we will watch the fireworks display: a welcome diversion!!
