a red flag went up for me this week when my father ( a child of the depression) asked me if his money was safe in the bank.....and I have been thinking about this since he asked.....

it seems drastic to think that we should withdraw all money from the bank

I am sure that those in the know pulled their money out of the banks in Cyprus before the new rules took effect.

as for gold......well it has been postulated by those who know far more than I do that there is not enough gold to cover the ETFs etc and that this paper is worthless if everyone tried to redeem them for the physical.....then there is the idea of gold and silver confiscation..........
