I wouldn't completely discount the benefits of comparing Tyhee with other similar juniors. My hope is that these comparisons might help us better understand what the market rewards, and maybe give us a clearer view of how it values TDC. Isn't this what analysts do to determine which stocks are undervalued, and possibly good investments? Could it be that your friend, in comparing TDC with others, came up with this idea?
