I noted something today when I signed into my CIBC trading account yesterday.  I beleive it made a statement about OTC stuff.  

Important Trading Information on U.S. Over-the-Counter (OTC) stocks in your CIBC Investor's Edge account

Effective September 28, 2021, trading of U.S. Over-the-Counter (OTC) stocks in your CIBC Investor's Edge account will be limited due to a regulatory rule change by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This amended rule will affect certain OTC stocks, primarily those currently denoted as "Pink-No Information" and "Grey Market" on www.otcmarkets.com and will prohibit quotation on the OTC market unless certain information about the issuer and its security is current and publicly available. The status of these OTC stocks can change as they comply with the reporting requirement rule. Please be aware that trading in certain securities will be more challenging or restricted due to this rule change.
