I don't think the price will result from as much emotion as in the past. The true investors will determine the price.
They will take a hard look at the earnings, depending on how they are derived. Were they generated from a lump sum cash settlement and therefore not on going. Hopefully some of the law suits if won, will reflect license agreements based on future reveunes, etc, so that sustained earnings are in place.
Lump sum settlements will have an emotional aspect, look at ptsc, went to $2.00+ and now approx $.50. If we get substantial dollar amounts, it will push the price based more on emotion, then probably fall back, unless new suits are won on a quarterly basis.
Long term agreements will stablize the earnings and the market will look at the investment based on appropriate financial measures.
I don't think any comparison to Qualcom is applicable, mainly a different time and different ways of evaluation.
It will boil down to the tining of revenues and how they are generated.
