The "Write back" idea belonged to Skip Matthews, which was assigned to Intel and related to hearing aid devices....he called it "Retro Restore". It was devised on his (Intel) fundamentals.

This would be one of those fuzzy areas someone mentioned a short time back regarding cross licensing, think it was LL, with regard to other tech that may be involved within Edig devices needing cross licensing.
