That memory can be any memory. However, utilizing electrically based memory really brings the significance of the patents into focus.
You can layout all kinds of processes within the memory matrix....however, you need the electric process in order to create paths of logic. You can not do this with non electrically based media.
Flash as non volatile media, adds yet a bonus.
There's a reason DM has signed on as they have.
