doni-- Oil as well as any other commodity is effected by supply and demand. If we were to glut the market with our own oil or cease buying oil from wh ever, the oil price per gallon will go down therefor the cost of gasoline woulf go down and people then could afford to drive more. They then inretrospect have more money to travel and then can afford EVu when they fly. Its all connected.

By our congress refusing to allow oil exploration even with in the borders of the U.S. is unconsurable. This mentality that we need to run our cars on bio fuels will make us in the near futute a third rate country while the rest of the world passes us by. These bio fuel will bring about even a more critical problem such as food and its cost as it is now being reflected in the cost of Wheat and rice.

Its one thing to be concerned about the enviorment yet another to be so stupid as to ignore that which has made us the greatest nation on earth. Let those who invent things do what they say they can do , but to give up our way of life for a promise that might never come is suicide both physically and economicl.
