I do not understand why this "first year law student material" has not been thrown out of the court.

A simple case like this should take no longer than a couple of months. Why do they wish to clog up the courts and make things ridiculously complicated?

A competent judge would have moved this along, as our courts are overcrowded with unnecessary lawsuits concerning issues that should have never gone to the court.

Seems as though many involved in the legal game want some free money from lawsuits, including lawyers.
