Syntax-Brillian Corp. has received a delisting notice from Nasdaq for failure to file its March 31, 2008, quarterly report in a timely matter.
The Tempe-based producer of high-definition LCD televisions was expecting the notice, and said Monday that it has until Thursday to file additional information with the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel and until July 31 to file its Form 10-Q, originally due in March.
Syntax-Brillian (Nasdaq: BRLC) officials last month said the company would restate its 2007 and quarterly 2008 results after an audit revealed problems with certain accounting measures related to its tooling deposits and some Asian sales transactions.
At the same time Syntax-Brillian announced it would be trimming its work force following a slump in the marketplace.
