IMO, they'are challenging Vivitar in attempt to identify that the same techniques are being utilized for imaging as well. With that, IMO, in some manner directly off the image sensor.

I see both IP issues as separate...one for audio...one for image.

However, they could blend with a favorable ruling from the Vivitar Markman.
