Yes there was a $72K overall loss, but did you compare that to the previous year based on a single, one time settlement? And remember, last year at this time we were on target for a record year in IFE revenues, had a higher top line and had more than twice the loss as EDIG just had with merely settlement #1.
This last quarter was a dramatic improvement from the IFE model on every front except total revenues.

**The current business model IS a recurring, one time event, times 184+.
At six settlements per year that's a 31 year run rate.
It is appearing to be a more predictable and more dependable model for the foreseeable near term as IFE continues to come under pressure.
There will come a time when EDIG will have an opportunity to expand current operations in IFE or divert into a completely new business. That will be a good day.
The bottom line is that DM provides access to a steady stream of recurring revenues via single, one time settlements...AND there remains the possibility for settlements or judgements that far exceed current settlements.
184+ times $1.6 million is a good business model....
