Any trial lawyer worth his salt knows that every case has a "Settlement Value"...
The real experts like DM have committees made up of senior members who evaluate the "Value'' of a case long before they sign up as counsel of record...
Aside from the monetary aspects, litigating just for the sake of litigation is a reflection on the reputation of the counsel and soon they become known as the lawyers that fail to produce results, and cost a lot...
Viewed in this cotext, a good lawyer will often tell his clients what a good settlement is, and make recomendations to the client...
I am positive that all this has been done, and as some one pointed out earlier, the DM success so far has been considered on the main issue that was dear and near to BOW...
I nagree with that the meeting ending at 5 p.m. today was a presurser to insuring that every one comes prepared to Tango on Thursday, and the fact that MMS have tried hard to knock off 3-5 cents off is reflective of the fact that Thursday may produce more poistive results for EDIG...
