One would think Samsung's law firm is as smart as ours, one would also think Samsung's engineers, expert withness's, patent attorney's etc, could figure out if the patents are valid or not.

Heck, 6 big companies all settled and wrote us a check, and I believe it was 4 out of 6, maybe all 6 (?) that we crossed licensed with, are equally smart, so that means the patents were determined to be valid, and they all chose to pay us off vs duke it out in court.

Pat Nunnaly is no dummy either. This guy has a track record in this field. His presentation on 9/17 was very convincing and simple to prove.

My burning question remains, why would Samsung risk a Markman, and if they lost, to partner or buy us, the price goes up?

Makes no sense to me.....

Everyone here can speculate until the cows come home and never reach a conclusion, but my take is a deal will be struck, what ever that might be, and Feb 17th with Samsung won't happen.

Granted, I have no clue what I'm talking about, but it's my gut feeling.
