richardo, I was under the impression there is only one Markman Hearing related to a specific patent or patents. Are you saying we could win the Markman in February against Samsung and somewhere down the line have to go through another Markman against a new defendant? Do you know if PTSC has had multiple Markmans? LL/Gil, help us out here. And can a Markman ruling be appealed?

In my mind, we have attained solid patent validation by the fact that 6 defendants have settled out of court, albeit small settlements. Like someone else posted, it's possible DM may have asked much more in settlement money from Samsung which is why they've decided to proceed to Markman. Otherwise, I'd think they'd pay the $2M - $3M and be done with us. However early settlement validation of our IP is nowhere near as powerful as a federal judge validating our patents. I'd call that a VERY positive validation.
