Message: Is Your Computer Battery An Energizer?

fwiw....

"Everyone in the industry knows this benchmark is wildly optimistic and that the actual battery life you'll get is often less than half what MobileMark suggests," he concluded in a recent note on the controversy. "This is because MobileMark measures battery life much like you might measure gas mileage if you started the car, put it in neutral and coasted down a long hill."

"That test, however, doesn't include some of the most energy-draining applications, like iTunes and Windows Media Player."

lol....wounder what the continuous play of a media file is?

e.Digital considerations are for continuous play.... execute a video and let it run down.

intel needs e.Digital as an expansion....so they can idle their norm, while a media file is executed through e.Digitals process, they should be able to manage it as if it were regular Windows Media formats....asf, .wma, .wmv, .wm

e.Digital doesn't care which, they can treat the file attributes of any file under their proprietary process. Intel can cheat the public with MSFT brand, pay e.Digital big, and no one will be the wiser.... except us here.....lol
