I am surprised at the rather small number of $25-$50 Million dollars you use?!...

Samsung is the the most important KEY to DM strategy...

In my opinion the case against Samsung was designed from the start as the Rossetta Stone of the DM strategy. They were part of the originam "MAGNIFICENT SEVEN" sued in the Stage I. The first six were used to generate some spending money, and Samsung was left as the last to be used as a vehicle to get a "POSITIVE MARKMAN RULING FROM THE COURT"...

In my opinion, barring a settlement which absorbs EDIG as part of the Samsung Congamorate Giant, functioning as one of the 57 separate companies that make up the SAMSUNG EMPIRE., (and I really see this as a great FIT for both companies), Samsung will be the "object lesson" for all the other High Hanging Fruits, like Apple, Sony, HH, MSFT, etc...

With a Big Verdict against Samsung, and a positive Markman Ruling in Hand all DM has to do send out letters of "DEAMND" telling those mentioned "HOW MUCH" he wants. For such is the effect of Markman Ruling...

I say NO WAY to a $25-50 SETTLEMENT with Samsung...
