Investment bankers and other companies do not use the potential revenues numbers. Instead, they use the expected numbers which means they multiply potential numbers regarding revenues from litigation with the subjective probability of successful litigation. If one asigns a 50% probability of sucess, for example, to the numbers used here, then the expected outcome is one half of what it is projected. In addition, if one assumes that the desired outcome is obtained in the span of, say, 10 years, then they will discount the expected outcome to find its present worth today. This will result in a far smaller amount than anyone is projecting. Just the facts as to how things are done in real time and life.
