thanks... that's neat to know...
"We licensed elements of MicroOS™ included in the Flash-R™ patent portfolio to the seven companies that settled with us in the first round of filings. We did not license or provide source code to MicroOS in it’s current configuration to any of these companies."
They are allowing the ability of Flash-R.....where, IMO, that stands for Flash Read, having a limited ability of what they are allowing.
If they are already miminally cheating on the ideas....they do not need the source code to carry on as they are with their current data schemes.
Of the 7 that have settled ... I assume they are all U.S. entity outlets.
1) LG ELECTRONICS USA.....FlashR only
2) CASIO AMERICA....all foreign and domestic patents(no source code)... including FlashR
3) NIKON.....FlashR only
4) OLYMPUS AMERICA.....all foreign and domestic patents(no source code) .... including FlashR
5) SANYO NORTH AMERICA....FlashR only
6) AVID ELECTRONICS.....FlashR only
7) SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS AMERICA....all foreign and domestic patents(no source code)..... including FlashR
The puzzle comes together a bit at a time...
