I recall at the time INTEL was planning to go into the retail consumer electronics markets in a significant way. I think Matthews addition was no accident and was also an indicator of things to come.
When INTEL changed course and dropped that effort is when things began to unravel, imo.
Key management can open doors to new opportunities based on their connections at higher levels than EDIG participates.
EDIG has the patents and is gaining exposure to the big players in a serious way. They just need to leverage those opportunities that may present.
About 10 days to see the elements surface, announcements of new technologies and other business developments, but I maintain, you get that and new management and the sky is the limit.
