I talked to FF last night. Concerning nuchi: there is a great deal of interest but no signed contracts as yet. The gadget is flexible to accommodate a large number of applications. That much we all who were present at the SM knew already.

FF thinks that the lawyers who are handling the re-examination have done a great job but he does not get any bets as to the outcome. One optimistic note is that the USPO is represemted by Mr. Tran, his boss and another examiner. The decision whether the patent is valid or not will reflect the thoughts of all of them.

Another optimistic element is that Edig has been approached by some firms to settle but nothing on this front as yet. All in all FF is pleased with the pregress so far.
