NUNCHI aside, it's still about e.Digitals root tech....fast transmission of data (I/O) with efficient utility of the data.... while contributing to battery power efficiency @ the origination of data for CE devices.

That is what the Voice Times Standards Alliance wanted to get standardized.

It started prior to PN taking hold of it, where he already had a prior history with management .....prior to Voice Times.

It just came down to one question....what type telemetry data is important to collect efficiently and sort it efficiently? That is where PN added to the mix.
