One of the two flinched...that's for sure.

If e.Digital flinched first...Google could have waited out the IPR decision...why did they not do so? After all, the court case was just sitting idle.

I say Google flinched first...not for monetary issues and not to throw e.Digital the company a life line...but to keep the documented IP intact.

Why would Google want to destroy the IP when it could be leveraged in some fashion?
